ABOUT ME
I am a musician, composer, and media artist primarily focused on ambient and drone music. I moved to Montreal in 2016, from Vancouver.
In early 2000, I studied jazz guitar and music composition at Grant MacEwan. In the 2010s, I played in rock bands. My main band was called City of Glass. We wrote, recorded, and toured in many countries.
I developed an interest in photography and video-making along the way. My modern dance videos have had some festival success.
Today, I finally feel at home with music. I shape sounds into moments that I find interesting, soothing, or reflective of how I feel. I like incidental, unnoticed moments in music, people, nature, and streets. Musically, I lean towards warm and gritty tones, complex harmonies, and syncopations. Making this music heals and energizes me.
I’m working on new stuff but also sorting through loads of past ambient and field recordings. As of 2026, I am feeling ready to share and see what’s out there.
Thank you for being here! The blog should give you an idea of what I get up to. The menu leads you to music, events, and projects. I am open to collabs.
